Great race. Early in the Spring we have to interpret the
speedfigures for aspects of fitness & circumstance.
Coming back to Apache Cat in this (2nd best speed profile
& 4th best recent speed) given his ability to handle
the Caulf 1400m & adaptability on all track surfaces
(rain predicted). Tons of speed so should track across from
wide barrier with Minson & prove very hard to catch.
Thin And Crispy has 2nd best recent speed & no luck
last start after great first up run. If rain is not too
great he will prove a big danger. Lad Of The Manor has best
speed profile & is a brilliant performer. Will once
again prove hard to beat. Quality of field is evident with
El Segundo (3rd best recent speed) rated 4th on this
occasion. And Minson with best recent speed (but
inexplicable failure last time) & Perfect Promise are
others with good chances in this quality field.
