track we came up with 3 winners in top 2 speed horses: Reef
Beach @ $7.90 (best speed for meeting); Future Analysis @
$10.80 & Live In Vain @ $7.80. These 3 were the last 3
legs of a $20,210.60 quaddie with the first leg an unrated
hurdle race with only 8 runners. Take the field or pick the
winner & you have a huge collect. Read the pre-race
comments about Live In Vain & see why you had to be on
him. Doubles totalled $443.30. If you haven't got the
speedfigures and speed data you are betting blind.

supported) $8.90 & Tal Jack (2nd best recent speed) @

Natural Blitz in the P.J. O'Shea Stakes in Qld (we know his
speed profile & recent speed performances) @ $14.80
& last Sunday both Black Bubble & Emlozza were

through speedform. Best value speed for the meeting
(Natural Blitz) was a scratching for this meeting but won
the Wagga Cup on Friday @ $7.00 (speedguides emailed on
Thursday afternoon. Datestamped at Cyberhorse). A
profitable follow up for clients. A simple inspection of

2/4/2005: 2 winners with top 2 recent
speed performances: Barabba Road @ $5.00 & Mango
Daiquiri @ $2.80. Considering the small field some great

join the informed group of professionals and racing
insiders who would not place a bet or plan a race without
speedform.

17/4/2004: Good to be back on deck. A
fantastic effort from speedform with 2 top rated winners:
Ruling Eyes (best speed for meeting) @ $10.50 & Riley
Redwing @ $8.60. Running double with these 2 paid $129.10.
Also 2nd rated horses successful; Diamond Jake @ $3.70
& Samurai @ $3.40. Had a bit of thinking time while
recovering & have incorporated the 'speed success zone'
into the figures. From the 6 races covered by this there
were 3 winners: Diamond Jake, Ruling Eyes & Riley
Redwing. Some great value there. And you don't often find
anyone giving out 'best bets' @ better than $10.00. And our
top speed performer Makybe Diva successful in Sydney Cup
today and Dilly Dally ($30.00) last week when I was too,
too sick...oh, well.
13/3/2004: 4 winners from 8 rated races
were top rated: Celestina @ $3.90; Mimzical @ $5.40; Domine
@ $5.10 & Pantani @ $4.20. Speed data (see below) was
right on the mark all day in 7 of the 8 races.
6/3/2004: Another great performance from
the speedfigures on a major race day. 6 winners from 8
rated races coming from top 2 speed selections including
(top rated) Feel On @ $15.50. In the feature (Newmarket H)
the top 3 speed selections filled 3 of the first 4 placings
(1st, 2nd & 4th) once again proving that speed
assessment is vital for success. Exceed And Excel @ $4.30
(Newmarket H) had best last start speed performance for the
meeting.
28/2/2004: Strong performance from
speedform with one of 2 'best speed for meeting'
successful: Physique @ $2.40 (was expecting better value
really. Melbourne Age had it tipped only once to win &
once for 2nd & was quoted at $5.50). In the 4
recommended races there were 2 top rated winners: Physique
& Tycoon Ruler @ $6.40 (over $7.00 on IAS).
7/2/2004: Great result from speedratings.
In the 3 nominated betting races: Race 4 Top rated Cross
Current 1st @ $6.50 (& heavily supported late in from
over $11.00); Race 5 Lonhro 2nd rated 1st @ $1.90 &
Race 7 (2nd rated Given) 1st @ $10.00. Quaddie (rated
1/2/2/2) paid $466.80. Other winners include Alinghi $2.30;
Special Harmony $2.70 & Harley Ma @ $11.00. Running
double on races 7 & 8 paid $111.60 (rated 2/2).
17/1/2004: Another fantastic result for
speedratings. Speed best for day Gladiada 1st @ $2.20. In
recommended betting races results were: (race 3) Gladiada
1st; (race 5) St Elmo's Fire 1st @ $8.10 & Abdullah 2nd
giving a top 2 speed exacta of $20.60 plus with Bushido 3rd
the best recent speed performers ran 1st to 3rd (in order)

1st @ $15.10 & horse nominated as the danger (Monahan
Tweed) 2nd giving an exacta of $104.00; (race 8) we had no
collect. Brilliant performance of accuracy &
consistency with 2 top rated winners & a 2nd rated
winner in 3 of the 4 races. Note also that Gladiada &
St Elmo's Fire had the top 2 last start speed performances
for this meeting.
3/1/2004: Another great effort from
speedform. Top rated winners: Sonarchi @ $10.40, Silver
Birch @ $3.40 & Abdullah @ $1.30. Betting in
recommended races (3 & 7) produced Costalette (Race
3-best speed for meeting) a gallant 3rd $2.40 place after
looking winner when getting clear & Sonarchi 1st (race
7) @ $10.40 defeating 2nd speed selection Bold Cheree.
Trifecta paid $557.40 & exacta $63.00.
27/12/2003: Brilliant effort from
speedform concentrating on those events with best prospects
with 3 top rated horses winning plus a 2nd rated horse
being successful (from 4 rated races) with the only top
rated horse to miss running 2nd. Best result was Tycoon
Ruler @ $10.90 (much better on IAS) with trifecta in race
paying $637.20. Quaddie rated 1/1/1/2 paid $1301.60.
13/12/2003: Strong effort with last 4
winners ( from only 6 rated races) being 1st or 2nd rated:
Step Ahead (speed best for meeting) @ $4.50; Marbine $3.40;
Sand Belt $6.70 & Kayano $2.90.
8/11/2003: Great way to end the carnival
with 'best speed for meeting' successful again with Titanic
Jack winning Emirates. That completed a week where in
feature races speedform selected Elvstroem (VRC derby) as
2nd selection; Makybe Diva (Melbourne Cup) top selection;
Special Harmony (VRC Oaks) top selection & Titanic Jack
(Emirates Stakes) as top selection. Three of the 4
'classic' feature races were correctly rated by speedform,
plus on Tuesday the 'best speed for meeting' Leone Chiara
won @ $8.30. 2 top rated winners today with Into The Night
@ $3.90 & Titanic Jack @ $10.70. Finishing carnival
with trifecta of $2683.80 on last race.
4/11/2003: Great effort from speedform
with accurate assessment of Melbourne Cup. Makybe Diva @
$9.10 was top rated after consistent speed performances
this Spring. Also noting that all nominated speed horses
finished in prominent positions (6 of first 7 home) while
those omitted (such as Frightening) who had inferior speed
performances failed badly. Best speed horse for the
meeting, Leone Chiara won at a heavily supported $8.50.
Recent speed performances were vital again today with
winners: Zazzman $4.80; Leone Chiara $8.30; Barabba Road
$8.50 & Makybe Diva $9.10.
15/10/2003: A strong display by speedform
with 2 top rated winners Cherubim $4.10 & Special

last start speed: Gold Class @ $4.50 & Special Harmony.
Trifectas totalled $1686.90 plus some big exactas &
quaddie $322.10. Best recent speed performances were a
vital factor including trifecta in top 4 recent speed in
feature race (Thousand Guineas) @ $1211.30.
11/10/2003: In a day of incredible results
that flabbergasted tipsters from around Australia Speedform
provided a dramatic result with the top rated speed horse
Dream Leica successful in the last race @ over $20.00 on
IAS. The pre-race summary read: Dream Leica may be the
surprise with a significant speed return of 206 last start
over 1000m & will be further improved by extra trip.
Looks likely to be a big improver as she has had 10 starts
& 4 preparations indicating that not everything was
right in the past. One to watch. Dream Leica had the best
speed profile & best recent speed performance: Best
recent speed performance: Dream Leica 206...Worth noting
that not a single tipster from The Melb Age or the Winning
Post tipped her to run a place. It was a rollercoaster day
that baffled most, but speedform was validated once again
with the win of Dream Leica & results such as Crown
Princess @ $12.10 (3rd best recent speed) & Yakama @
$9.80 (also 3rd best recent speed).
21/9/2003: 2 top rated winners: Rose
Archway @ $8.90 & Lovely Jubly @ $2.60. Recent speed
accurate again with Lady Sophia @ $10.60; Hinting (3rd best
recent speed) @ $20.30; Exceed And Excel (top 5 last start
speed performer) @ $7.60; Grey Song (best recent speed) 2nd
@ $5.80 & both Rose Archway & Lovely Jubly having
best recent speed performances. Doubles totalled $459.30
& exactas $548.40.

Exactas totalled $318.00. Both Oamaru Storm & Le
Zagaletta had been highlighted in 'speed alerts' given to
subscription clients when superior speed performances are
noted.
23/8/2003: Another fantastic effort from
speedform with 5 winners either 1st or 2nd rated: Happy
Strike (top rated) $9.00; Naden (top rated) $7.20; Super

supported) & The Big Ask @ $9.00. Plus 2 good trifectas
of $335.60 & $107.30.
2/8/2003: Another strong performance by
speedform with speed best horse Ebony Night winning easily
@ $7.50 (had been over $10.00 on IAS) while Tully Dane was
2nd ($10.60) $3.20 after stewards reported him jumping
awkwardly & losing ground initial stages. Should have
won clearly. The other speed best horse Step Ahead would
have at (the very least) finished 2nd if he had found a
path through traffic in down straight. Winners in top 2
speed selections were: Confectioner $6.10; Ebony Night
$7.50 & Super Elegant $5.00. Horses in top 5 last start
speed performances were Step Ahead (you know the story);

best speed for meeting selection & the other nominated
speed best Ebony Night had no luck in running. Trifecta on
race 2 with top 4 'best recent speed performances' paid
$667.40 & the exacta $114.90.
12/7/2003: Another brilliant performance

24/5/2003: Another great effort from
speedform with top rated speed horse Woodwina 1st @ $13.40
(over $15.00 in NSW). Recommended (best) speed horses all
placed & only (surprising) drying track stopping
Bulbasaur from defeating wet-track duffer Sir Chuckle
(& it took a track record to beat Freemason). Trifecta
selected from best last start speed performances for
meeting (Sir Chuckle, Bulbasaur & Karamazou) paying
$309.00. Quaddie paid $6670.80. Doubles totalled $356.40.
Top rated speed horses 2nd in 4 races (from 8 rated races)
@ $1.80, $$1.80, $3.00 & $3.00 as well as long-priced

Kashkii @ $7.00 & Bomber Bill (another successful bonus

paid $510.30. 4 winners were either best or 2nd best recent
speed performers. Quaddie paid $5183.70.
29/3/2003: Brilliant performance by
speedform again. Speed best for day, Grey Song, won @

@ (heavily supported) $2.30 & Innovation Girl 2nd
paying $2.00 for place. 5 winners had either best or 2nd
best recent speed performances: Tarcoola Diamond @ $2.30;

$1587.20. Doubles totalled $549.20.
22/2/2003: Another great effort from
speedform on a premier raceday. Firstly one of 2
recommended 'best speed for meeting' horses successful:
Blessum @ $5.90; $2.20 (other runner had no luck). Best
recent speed another sensational effort with 4 winners
having either best or 2nd best recent speed performances
including Oakleigh Plate winner River Dove @ $11.80; $3.20

last start speed performances produced Australian Guineas
exacta with Delago Brom defeating Tycoon Ruler, trifecta on
same race & finally River Dove in next. Best speed for
day was successful with heavily supported Sensational Spot
@ $5.30 (in from over $8.00). Speedfigures got the Guineas
right, even if I did not interpret figures to maximum
benefit (pretty obvious when you look at it in hindsight).
8/2/2003: Great performance by speedform
with 2 of the 3 'best speed for meeting' horses successful:
Feel The Noise @ $5.40 & Titanic Jack @ $3.20. 5
winners were in top 2 best recent speed performances: Greek
Adonis $5.40; Halibery @ $2.80; Titanic Jack $3.20; Yell

& equal
Step Ahead 185 (race 4) 3rd @ $4.60 place.
Trifectas totalled $758.50 including 'box' selection in
race 8 @ $224.00. Great allround effort by speedfigures on
a premier day of racing.
1/2/2003: 3 top rated winners with feature
race (Debonair) winner Innovation Girl identified as having
her rivals covered after her brilliant last start speed
performance. Also noting that 3rd placegetter Tycoon Ruler
($109.00) & 15.80 for place was identified with 3rd
best recent speed for race & selected as a great place
prospect. Also trifecta of $964.60 was selected. Other top

Elegant $7.70; Dantana $4.30; Sir Chuckle (3rd-ntd);
Azevedo 2nd $2.90 & Samdin unplaced.
4/1/2003: Another great effort by
speedform with 4 winners & 1 2nd from the 'Top 5 last
start speed performers'. The 2nd (My Fraarlein) was behind
Raven's Pal (speed best for meeting) @ $4.60 & the
exacta paid $12.10. Best recent speed produced 5 winners
across the program.
26/12/2002: Great performance by speedform
with Raja Lane winning @ $8.50; $2.90 being one of 2
recommended speed horses for day. In addition (the only
other race commented upon) Appian Way was top rated winner
@ $7.60. 1st or 2nd rated speed horses produced winners @
$7.50; $7.60; $8.50 & $3.20. Speed data identified
winners with best recent speed: Appian Way, Raja Lane &

You Little Beaut @ $10.90. Doubles totalled $455.70.
Exactas $411.10 & trifectas $1776.50. Once again
consistency & great value.
21/12/2002: Strong effort by speedform
with 'top 5 last start speed performances' contributing
these great results: Be My Person 1st @ $9.30; Sparkling
Gulch 2nd (same event) $2.00 (exacta $51.50); Step Ahead
1st @ $5.80 & Flurry's Gem 1st @ $3.50. Flurry's Gem
($3.50) was identified as 1 of 2 best speed chances for
meeting & there were 2 top rated winners from 7 races
with Flurry's Gem & Step Ahead @ $5.80. 2 trifectas
were rated in top 3 speed selections: race 4 @ $202.10
& race 8 @ $114.80.
30/11/2002: Good performance by speedform
with 3 top rated winners from 7 rated races including Raja
Lane @ $6.00 (also recommended speed best for meeting);
Cooke Street @ $6.80 & Gazania @ $2.40. Best recent
speed performers (top 2) also successful with Gazania; Raja
Lane; Cooke Street & Fearless Sophie: 4 winners from 7
races had either best or 2nd best recent speed
performances. Quaddie $1327.40 & doubles $248.40.
8/11/2002: Brilliant effort by speedform
to identify Scenic Peak in feature race as best speed horse
for the day. Speedfigures were spot on & he firmed from
over $18.00 into $14.40; $4.70. Sure Bet @ $23.90 &
British Buska @ $7.30 both had best recent speed
performances in their respective races. Trifectas totalled
$2099.90. Exactas $342.20. Doubles totalled $466.30 &
quaddie $2741.00. Once again during Spring carnival
speedratings has as top rated the winners of Cox Plate;
Caulfield Cup; VRC Derby & Emirates Stakes plus
numerous other major race winners. If you check past years
you will find similar results with likes of Sudurka winning
Salinger Stakes last year @ $29.90; Cox Plate winner
(again), Waterford Crystal Mile @ $10.10 and so on. Go back
another year & it is Sandown Classic winner Brave Chief
@ $20.70, etc. Speedfigures are an accurate way to
interpret the true ability of the horse. I will interpret
the figures & advise (from my wealth of experience) the
better speed chances (usually at great value) while
disclosing the speed performances as a true 'form guide'
for the savvy punter to make their own judgement call.
5/11/2002: Always the hardest day of the
punting year & a few results again to confirm this
theory. Still the Melbourne Cup winner Media Puzzle did
have the best recent speed performance & duly won-even
if I somehow found a way of overlooking a glaring fact.
Strong performance by speedfigures with Inspire (best
speed) winning @ $26.60; $6.80; Hey Pronto (best speed
& best recent speed) 1st @ $4.20; $1.90; Tarcoola
Diamond (best speed & best recent speed) 1st @ $6.10;
$2.20 & Roman Arch (2nd best recent speed) 1st @
$17.10; $5.60. Daily Double $123.70. Quaddie a
huge$24,645.70 if you concentrate on best recent speed
performances (1/1/5/2). Speedfigures are always an
essential tool when ascertaining the chances in any race.
26/10/2002: Strong effort by speedform
with 2 winners from 'best speed for meeting' with Royal
Code @ $4.50 & Northerly @ $3.70. Rain Gauge 2nd $1.70
was very unlucky not to win. Scenic Peak & Let's Went
(both at good odds) had no luck in running. Once again the
major races were won by speed horses with strong
credentials: Cox Plate by Northerly (best speed) Schweppes
S by Spinning Hill (best speed); Grosby Gold Cup by Thong
Classic (2nd best speed-with runner up Rain Gauge having
best speed); Waterford Crystal Mile won by Royal Code with
Weasel Will 2nd (they being 3rd & 2nd best speed) &
the AAMI Vase by Helenus (best speed). Trifecta of $443.40
in Grosby Gold Cup was won by top 3 'speed best' horses
with 3rd placed Mr. Prudent paying $9.40 for place. Quaddie
$645.00. Good races are won by the best horses &
speedratings is the logical & best way to categorise a
racehorse. Go Northerly!
19/10/2002: Strong performance by
speedform on a premier raceday. From horses categorised as
speed best for meeting there was Tarcoola Diamond 3rd
$1.30; Mr. Lofty 1st $3.70; $1.70; Northerly 1st $4.20;
$2.00 & Taimana 3rd ($12.90) $4.10. Also today
highlighted another key facet of speedratings: it is an
alternative form guide. I analyse the speed data & make
recommendations. But secondly I supply clients with the
means to make their own assumptions. Today Reactive 1st @
$60.00; $16.40 went into her event with the 3rd best recent
speed performance & having best speed performance at
Caulfield. Trifecta in same race paid $6625.30 with the top
5 best recent speed performers filling placings. In fact,
the top 5 filled first 5 placings: Best recent speed
performance: Wyndam Special 190,120,108; Taimana 164;
Reactive 160; Hosannah 160; Lady Cay 153,179 scratched;
Gentle Genius 145...
29/9/2002: Brilliant performance by
speedform with both of speed best for meeting horses
winning Jugahnaut @ $12.60 & Tarcoola Midnight @ $9.50.
The daily double with these 2 paid $152.40 & the
quaddie paid $11,683.70. Antique @ $6.50 another top rated
winner. Trifectas $2699,80. Doubles $707.50. 3 top rated
winners from 7 rated races at very generous odds. Valuable
information in every event.
28/9/2002: Another very good performance
by speedform with 3 top rated winners successful (from 7
rated races) with Primevall @ $13.00; Koala @ $3.20 &
Edgeton @ $3.20. Best recent speed performance winners were
Primevall & Edgeton with The Almighty One having 2nd
best recent speed & paying $10.50. In race 6 horses
with speed best (best speed performance past 24 months) ran
trifecta & paid $1201.50.
22/9/02: Very good effort by speedform to
produce Taimana as big winner & identified as best
speed horse for meeting. Taimana paid $13.70 but was backed
in from $28.00 & was still showing $25.00 well into
betting. (Speed best for meeting:
Taimana (race 2) quality mare with more
potential than performance to date although she still
possesses a 50% win ratio. She is unbeaten first up &
stable (Mike Moroney) are masters at producing horses
fresh. Took on Group 1 gallopers after brilliant speed
return on Australian debut in Autumn & just appeared to
be a filly not physically prepared at that stage. Would
expect that she has come back stronger & she appeals as
a good prospect.) Another of the best speed horses Titanic
Jack was narrowly beaten @ ($5.50) $2.10 for place. Other
good results include top rated Northerly @ $2.50 plus
Sophistocat 2nd (2nd best speed for race) @ $5.20; Toast Of
The Coast (also narrowly beaten had 2nd best recent speed
in her race) @ $25.80; $6.10. Pentastic 1st @ $11.10 was
identified as a great chance. Exacta in race 3 paid
$325.40.
14/9/2002: Strong results from speedform
with 3 winners (from 7 races) having best recent speed
performance for their respective races: Dandy Kid @ $16.70;
Fields Of Omagh @ $3.20 & Yell @ $2.10. Trifectas
totalled $1134.40 (add an extra $191.40 if including top 4
last recent speed in race 4). Doubles totalled $424.60.
Exactas $287.00. Quaddie $811.00. Speed data vital in all
races identifying poor value (& poor performing)
favourites in Bella Vichy; Schumpeter (heavily backed Super
Groove) & Bidaily. None of these had sufficient speed
merit to back the enthusiastic support they received.
3/8/2002: Great performance by speedform
with 5 winners from 7 races coming from top 3 speed horses
with returns of: $27.80; $6.50; $6.50; $3.60 & $1.40.
Two of these winners were top rated & these paid
(Choreograph $3.80) & (C
